We offer three unique volunteer service opportunities aimed at supporting and enriching vulnerable communities in our society, including the elderly, new immigrants, and economically disadvantaged individuals. We welcome your participation in creating an impact together:

1. Art Therapy Sessions: Every two months, we organize mosaic art therapy sessions to provide a creative outlet and healing space for the community. No prior art background is required; we welcome volunteers interested in helping others find comfort and joy through art.

2. Monthly Featured Artists: Each month, we select 1-2 "Monthly Featured Artists" whose works will be showcased and auctioned as donations in the IODE charity shop. This is an excellent opportunity to support a women's charity organization while allowing your artwork to shine for a good cause.

3. Charity Art Sale Events: The Little Fish Student Council organizes the "Art for Heart" charity art sale event annually, and we are collecting artworks throughout the year. If your work is chosen for this event, we also provide free guidance and editing suggestions to help present your work in the best possible light.

Additionally, we will need volunteer sales staff during the event to handle tasks such as label making, customer service, accounting, and more.

CALL TO ACTION

We recruit volunteers, primarily youth: Although we are not art therapists, we aim to teach everyone to use painting and crafts as auxiliary tools to relieve and channel psychological stress and pain, thereby reducing stress and hostility in society as a whole.

*Disclaimer: It is important to note that as a youth-led initiative, we are NOT licensed art therapists but the main goal of our organization is to encourage youth to take charge of their volunteering experience and to increase the practice of painting/art in the healing and emotional recovery process in community center, youth care center and senior home settings. However we are more than happy to partner with art therapists and for more information please contact us.
